I've seen so many blogs where people ask for help with getting their own custom splash screen on their after market DDX5015bt Head unit and since when I was trying to do it for mysef I couldnt find any full set of instructions for this particular type of head unit I decided to post what I did and what I can promise will work.

 

There are rumors that the custom image must be a particular format ect, this is true. I will outline what it is and how to do it on the Custom Image page

 

Another rumor is that there is a special .txt file from kenwood that you need in order for the head unit to read your flash drive. ALSO true. and I will also cover that and upload the text file on the Flash Drive Page
